Income Tax & TDS Filing — Returns, Planning & Notices

Tax penalties that
could have been avoided.

Most tax problems are not about aggressive positions — they are about missed deadlines, wrong TDS rates on the wrong payments, and advance tax calculations that ignored the actual profit trajectory.

✕
TDS not deducted on contractor payments — 30% disallowance in ITR
✕
Advance tax paid incorrectly — interest under 234B and 234C adding up
✕
ITR filed with errors — notices from CPC for mismatched data
✕
Section 194T — TDS on partner salary not being deducted
✕
Tax audit not done — penalty under 271B plus interest on tax shortfall
What we do
TDS deducted on every applicable payment — contractors, professionals, rent, partner salary under 194T. Correct rate, correct section, correct timing.
What we do
Advance tax calculated based on projected annual income — updated quarterly. 234B and 234C interest eliminated by design.
What we do
ITR filed with your audited financials, verified against Form 26AS and AIS. Discrepancies resolved before filing — not after a notice.
What we do
Section 194T compliance set up for all partnership and LLP clients. TDS on partner drawings handled correctly from the first payment.
What we do
Tax audit conducted and report filed under Section 44AB. All clauses addressed. Supporting documentation maintained and audit-ready.

CLASSIFICATION
Short-term versus long-term, correctly applied
Holding period and asset type both determine whether a gain is taxed as short-term or long-term, and the two are taxed at meaningfully different rates. Equity, property, and unlisted shares each follow different holding-period rules — an error here changes the tax due, not just the paperwork.
EXEMPTIONS
Section 54 and 54F reinvestment exemptions, claimed correctly
Reinvesting capital gains into a new property can exempt the gain from tax, but the exemption has strict timelines and conditions attached. We assess eligibility before the transaction closes, not after the return is due, since the exemption window cannot be recovered once missed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What income tax and TDS services do you provide?+
Income tax return filing for all entity types, advance tax computation and payment, and TDS returns — 26Q, 24Q and 27Q — filed quarterly along with Form 16/16A issuance.
Do you handle tax audits under Section 44AB?+
Yes. We assess applicability based on your turnover or gross receipts, review the books, and prepare and file the audit report within the statutory deadline.
Can you help with advance tax planning, not just filing?+
Yes, we calculate advance tax each quarter and flag opportunities for legitimate tax planning before the year closes, not after, when options are limited.
What if we receive an income tax notice or scrutiny assessment?+
We review the notice, prepare the response, and represent you before the department where required — the same approach we take with GST notices.
Do you file TDS returns for businesses with employees as well as vendor payments?+
Yes — TDS on salary (24Q), on non-salary vendor and professional payments (26Q), and on payments to non-residents (27Q) are all covered under one retainer.
