The Income Tax Act 2025 has renumbered all TDS and TCS provisions effective from Tax Year 2026-27. Old sections like 192, 194C, 194J, 194T continue to apply — but the new section references (392, 393, 394 series) are now used in return filings. The mapping is available in the updated TDS Rate Chart. Importantly, 194T (TDS on partner salary / remuneration) at 10% with a ₹20,000 threshold continues unchanged. If you file TDS returns in-house, update your software to reflect the new section codes.

Zoho has rolled out improved bank feed connectivity for UAE banks (Emirates NBD, ADCB, FAB) and UK banks (Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds). Automatic transaction import is now more reliable with fewer manual refresh requirements. If you were experiencing sync issues, reconnect your bank feed to get the updated connection.
The first instalment of advance tax for FY 2026-27 is due by 15th June 2026. This is 15% of your estimated total tax liability for the year. Businesses and individuals with tax liability exceeding ₹10,000 must pay advance tax. Start estimating your FY 2026-27 income now to avoid interest under Section 234B and 234C.
Zoho has expanded its Zia AI capabilities across CRM and Analytics. New features include AI-powered deal scoring in CRM (predicts likelihood of deal closure based on activity patterns) and natural language queries in Zoho Analytics (ask questions in plain English, get charts automatically). Both features are available on Zoho One without additional cost.
The GST Council has reduced the e-invoicing threshold. Businesses with aggregate annual turnover above ₹5 crore must now generate e-invoices for all B2B transactions. If your turnover crossed this threshold in FY 2025-26, ensure your Zoho Books is configured for e-invoicing with the IRP portal before raising your next B2B invoice.
